PSALM 127 "Children are a gift from the Lord"

Setting up a beauty/barber shop

Things to gather:
hooded hair dryer (I found mine at Goodwill)
small, handheld blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron
unbreakable mirror
bow display
empty shampoo/conditioner containers
empty perfume bottles (I usually glue to tops on them)
drape
children's nail polish (it washes off and won't stain clothes)
electric razor (remove the blades from inside)
shaving cream
1-2 hand towels

I used my preschool kitchen area so that we could back a chair up to the sink for a washbowl. We created "hair do" books by cutting out pictures from magazines. Cosmetology donated a manicure table for our use, but any small table would work. BE SURE TO CUT THE ELECTRICAL CORDS OFF OF ALL APPLIANCES! Remember, this is just pretend and you don't want anyone getting hurt or burned.
